Sweet Pea is 28 Months Old!

Another busy month! Now that the weather has been nicer (and Mommy and Daddy have a little bit more energy!), we have been spending lots of time outside! We are doing our best to explore all of the playgrounds within walking distance of our house. Simone is getting so good at climbing and her favourite place is still the swing! Daddy gives the best "hunduck" ever!

Park Day!

"I do it all myself!"

Ok, just a little help from Daddy!

The King and Queen of the Castle have found a cozy new spot to hang out!

It has also been nice enough to try out her trike! Thank you again to Baka for passing it down to me!

Here is my very first lesson!

Just hanging out, being gorgeous! :)

Thanks again to Bailey for the adorable hat!!!

Second to swinging are bubbles! Simone has discovered a new way to get them out!

Thank you to Aunty Grace for my super cool new cup, all the way from "Zona"!

Remembering how much Simone loved corn last year, we thought we'd get a jump start on this season when the cobs showed up in the grocery store...

So exciting!

But, still four months too early! Ick!

Not to brag, but here is a picture of Simone meeting a couple of Kindergarten outcomes!!! Just sorted my blocks! After that she identified each one as she put in back in the shape sorter bucket! Amazing!!! She has also impressed us further with her advanced spatial awareness by putting an alphabet puzzle together in record time! We are still working on identifying the letters and the sounds they make. Ah, the life of a teacher's child!

Simone loves to play different characters around the house. We often see firefighter, cook, ballerina, shopper (with her shopping cart)... and here is some footage of her being a pirate! Arrrrrr!

Simone has come up with a few choice phrases that have had us in stitches this month:
-When Mommy is laughing she asks: "What's so happy, Mommy?"
-"Let's turn the light on and see what's going on!"
-"I don't know what to say about that!"
-"Superman has a dirty diaper!"

We can't wait to see what she comes up with next month!!!
