Back to School

Lots of changes going on chez Les Dumas! Not only is it a New Year and somebody just celebrated her first birthday, but Mommy is going back to work and Little Miss Mo is starting her four days a week at daycare!

 

Her lunch is packed (thank you to Auntie Shi for the adorable lunch box!) and she is testing out her new outfit (thank you Robyn, Car and Jenny!) for her first day away from Mommy and Daddy!

Auntie Mick and Sebbie welcomed her with open arms!

(The end of the day report was that Simone had a wonderful first day! The one hiccup was that she had a slightly shorter-than-normal nap: 20 minutes only!!!)

Mommy could have used a 20-minute nap during her long first day back! She has a lot of work to do to get her class in shape, but she doesn't have to do it all in one day! It's going to be a busy month!

A week of visiting and gifting and coochy-cooing has left Sim with a bit of a knot in her face come New Year's Eve. Here she is too tired to revel and lets Daddy blow it!
