And the Oscar goes to...

Movie-Lover Mo was Red Carpet Ready for her second Academy Awards! And Seth Macfarlane certainly delivered! (Anyone would be better than Anne Hathaway and James Franco!)

Wow, finally someone that I am taller than!
Tasty too.

"Hey Oscar, try and ride Mr. Zebra!"
"I'd like to thank my Dad: he is my inspiration for all of my comedic roles. I'd like to thank my Mom for showing me how to line up my bath toys along the side of the tub. I'd like to thank Mimi for wanting to spend so much time with me (and for giving Mommy and Daddy regular breaks!)."

Happy Valentine's Day!

With Mimi in Mexico, it was up to us to deliver her hug (and card!) to Great Avi on Valentine's Day.

Here we are, spreading the love at the Dorchester! (Thanks again to Grandpa for this awesome travel booster seat! There is not a big need for high chairs at the Senior Retirement Residence!)

There was lots of love at the Dumas household: gorgeous flowers, beautiful cards and two tickets to Sting at Prospera Place in May! Yay! Any takers on babysitting??? (Mimi will be back from Mexico by then... we hope!)

13 Months Old!

13 months! More than one year old!

Things have been going well at daycare - I love all my friends there and Auntie Mick is so patient with me as I continue to nap for 20 minutes!!! I have had a couple of longer stretches, but it seems that I am so comfortable at her house, that I like to fill my pants rather than sleep! I am getting WAY better at saying goodbye to Mommy and Daddy in the morning at drop-off, so that is something to celebrate!

In other news, I get to do SO much more this winter than just ride around in the bucket!
Here I am enjoying a snow day in my front yard!

Daddy helps me walk over to the playground that is right outside our kitchen window!

Now that I'm older, I'm trying out some other new things... like hairstyles!

And skirts with tights! Don't forget the amber necklace! (Apparently this helps with teething - it's not for chewing on, but just having the amber against my skin is supposed to help with the pain. We're not sure if it's working or if the tooth just finally made its way through! I have been in a pretty great mood, lately though! And sleeping has been better, too!)

P.S. Did we dress Simone in 1970s pink for a photo shoot? Nope! This is Ash when she was around Simone's age! Check out the hair! Color and style are a match! Not to mention the pale skin, the eyes and (unfortunately) part of the nose!
I wonder who I'll look like when I'm 14 months old!!!
