Grampa Dan Comes To Town!

From the second he arrived...

... to the second she had to go to bed...

              ... Simone didn't let Grampa Dan out of her sight!

As soon as she was in bed, Ollie finally got his turn!

From these first pix it may seem like Gramps was baby snuggling the whole time but between coochie coos, he did manage to almost single-handedly finish painting and trimming Oliver's room. Finally Ollie has a place all his own... thanks Grampa Dan! Sorry for all the sore muscles.

Thanks again to Jenny (AGAIN!) for all the bedding, pictures and matching lamp! We are so lucky!!!

Visiting With Auntie Tess!

We started the day off with a visit at Great Avi's house...

...then headed to the Rec Centre for some play time...

...and some play dough!

Then back to our house for some Baby Snuggles!

The Boy Is One Month Old!

So much has happened in my four short weeks on the outside... at three weeks old, I was already weighing in at 10lbs 6oz! I keep hearing Mommy and Daddy talk about the cost of formula! Weird! They are up with me once or twice a night, which they seem to be pretty happy with... although they work very hard to keep me quiet so I don't wake up my big sister! :)

Daddy used his new camera to practice a few different angles in the natural light. Pretty easy with this adorable subject matter!

25 Months Old!

Now that I am over two years old, I am finding some new hobbies!

I still LOVE the "Shaker Shaker" song, but I've got some sweet new moves to go along with it!

(I learned them from my Dad - isn't he awesome?!?!)

I still LOVE books, but now I like to read stories to Daddy!

 I still LOVE my birthday castle (thanks again to MC, Nathan and Vincent!), but now I like to put ALL of my pretend food and dishes, books, stuffies, blankets and blocks inside it, one object at a time! Oh, and I DON'T love cleaning it up when I'm done! How very "2"ish of me!

I am getting adventurous in food! Here I am enjoying my very first mini fajita!

My first dinner guest! My dear friend Sebbie and his awesome Mom, Brenna, stopped by for a visit, a play date and some chicken! Cheers!

CHEESE! It's not just what I'm eating!

Following in my Mom's domestic goddess footsteps, I put on my baker's outfit and jumped right in to my first chocolate chip cookie experience!

P.S. The cookies were delicious! I especially enjoyed them right before bedtime! Mom and Dad, not so much...
