Home Sweet Home!

We are officially HOMEOWNERS!!!

Our new residence is a 2200-square foot townhome in North Glenmore. Three floors, four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a yard and a garage!

We are so fortunate to have a realtor in the family! (And a lawyer to do the paperwork and a designer to make it look nice...!) Aunty Leigh put so much time and energy into finding us our first home! Despite a few "hiccups", it all came together.

We are so excited to be in the space where Simone will learn to walk, where she will spend her first Christmas, where she will kick a ball around with Daddy in the backyard... and so many other firsts!

Welcome home, Baby!

We have a few renos to do, but the space is certainly liveable for the time being!

Visitors, please keep in mind that WHEN you come to visit, you will have a whole level to yourselves, complete with bedroom, bathroom and rec room!!!

2012 is turning out to be our year!!!

Happy Birthday, Mimi!

This year, we treated Mimi to lunch at Earls. Simone was eyeballing the dessert!

She even helped Mimi blow out her candle!

My Week With Auntie Tess

The whole family was happy to have Tess home for ten days, but no one more than her niece!

It sure was easier to say goodbye this time, knowing that Auntie will be back at the end of the month! That's right! Auntie has given her notice at her job and her apartment and will be living with us for three months until she goes to Australia in August! Yay!

Three Months Old!

No birthday party this month...  maybe again at six months!

After her three-month check-up, Simone is in the 60th percentile for weight (13lbs 8oz!) and the 97th percentile for length (25inches or 64cm!). She is super alert, she loves being on her tummy and she smiles all the time! We are so lucky!
