We enjoyed a quiet night at Mimi's with our dear friend and fellow red carpet critic, Susan Marshall. We all thought the show was one million times better than last year (Anne Hathaway and stoned James Franco ruined it!), even though we hadn't seen many of the nominated pictures (only "The Help", "Bridesmaids", "Moneyball" and "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo").

We know that "The Artist" is at the top of our Shaw on Demand list, followed closely by "Beginners" (we love Ewan!). Has anyone seen "My Week With Marilyn"? It looks good! And although it doesn't really entice us, I guess we should see "Hugo" since it won so many awards. Any movie reviewers out there, please share your opinions!

Adventures in Babysitting!

Dad and Kathy were so kind as to invite us to join them at the Okanagan Symphony for a special presentation of "At The Movies". Of course, we hired the best babysitter in town... Mimi! (The price is right!)

Adventures in Babysitting is one of my favorite movies! I love Elizabeth Shue! (And now she has joined the cast of CSI!) Fortunately, Mimi's adventures were limited to a number one diaper change, two bottles and some naps! We had to make sure she would agree to watch Simone again in the future!
