What a great day this was too! I spent the morning catching up with my best friend, Robyn: we got pedicures, we went for breakfast, we went shopping, we talked and talked and talked... it was delightful! When I got home, Jeff surprised me with this lovely bouquet of flowers when I walked in the door. He's so sweet!
Jeff and I began our anniversary celebration by going for dinner at the Kelowna Golf & Country Club, where we had the wedding. It was delish!
Keeping with the movie theme, we went to see the movie "Funny People". Not a typical Apatow comedy, but still quite good. Kinda deep too. After the show, we walked down Bernard (the main drag) to the Sails (for those who came on the houseboat before the wedding, this was our rendez-vous spot!), as we enjoyed an ice cream cone.
After the mix-up the night of the wedding (they gave away our room!), we were offered a free stay to make up for it (thanks again, Kath!), so we thought this would be a good time to take advantage of it! Little did we know we were being treated to the medieval suite!
While we were at the show, sneaky Mom and Kathy snuck into our room and left us some little treats...
...which Jeff couldn't wait to get into...
...and we enjoyed them on our balcony! Cheers!
