Happy 35th Birthday, Mommy!

35! Man. I sure don't feel 35! I keep trying to wipe these weird dark spots of dirt off my hands, but they won't come off... oh wait, I think they're called "age spots". When did they get there? I guess I didn't notice them (or the ever increasing lines around my eyes!) because it turns out I need glasses! Well, it's a very LOW prescription, maybe only for driving at night... which is why I went to the eye doctor in the first place! Driving home from piano lessons (yes, I am taking piano and it is awesome!) I found myself squinting and thought I should get an eye exam. The doc said I might find it to be less of an effort to see clearly, so I might want to wear them all the time. We'll "SEE"! Now to find frames... eeek!

It was another week of celebrations!
We kicked it off with brunch at Cora's with 75% of the Bryce Family (we missed you, Bob!). Delicious as always!

On the actual day, we spent the morning in the walk-in clinic... not exactly what I wished for, but since the kids had been sick for about 10 days, we thought enough was enough!

After that, Simone and I were treated to a lovely lunch at the new Yacht Club - beautiful and delicious! Thank you to Mimi, Kathy, Aunty Leigh and Aunty Sue for such a nice time!

Spoiled again with PIZZA for dinner and a homemade, purple icing ANGEL FOOD CAKE! Thank you, Mimi!

Ollie is eyeing that cake! He's hoping for some practice before his first birthday!

We had a super fun time at Bingo later on that week, but unfortunately NOT ONE of us won! If you haven't played in a while, let me know - we've got tons of dabbers and we'd love to play again! Hot ball!

Thank you again for all of the kind cards, emails, texts and phone calls! What a very bonne fĂȘte!
