Who could say "no" to a 2700-square foot house for $300 a month?!?! Not us! Even if the "eclectic" design gives Mom a rash! Since Dad lives in this gated community, he discovered that the owners head to Arizona for the winter and needed housesitters. Dad's on the Strata Committee, so we couldn't have received a better reference!

We moved in today (thanks again for your help, Dave!). It's nice to have our own space (and to give Mom her space back!), but this is A LOT more space than we are used to! We even got to move our stuff out of the self-storage place and into the basement. We're saving money all over the place!
Within the 3 floors of this house, there are 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, so Jeff has been a busy bee with the vacuum! I don't think I've been downstairs more than once! There is a big-screen TV down there and so far we have watched one movie. We spend most of our time on the main floor, where there is a family room with a smaller TV and a fancier living room. Jeff has been enjoying having a garage where he can wash the car and I'm sure I'll enjoy it in the winter when we won't have to brush it off!
We're here until the beginning of April, so if anyone is interesting in visiting, you are more than welcome to come and enjoy free accommodation!
